Observed Drives...

Each course participant may, if he or she wishes, have their driving skills assessed whilst driving their own car. The assessment is carried out by a trained observer from Worthing Advanced Motorists. The drive lasts about 90 minutes (those under 26 yr have two sessions) and covers a wide range of different road conditions. This is not in any way a ‘driving test’ but an opportunity to help you identify, at safe opportunities during the drive, ‘bad habits’ which may have crept in and to suggest how your driving could be developed to bring in some of the points covered in the classroom sessions. After the drive, you will receive a confidential and detailed de-brief with written notes for you to keep.
