Better Driving Course
Purpose...The aim of the course is to improve a driver’s skill and safety on the road thereby greatly reducing the risk of being involved in a road traffic crash. This will be achieved through offering advice on making the best use of road and traffic conditions by increasing the driver’s awareness of the range of factors which affect driving. These factors include the driver’s own capabilities, the characteristics of the vehicle, and observation of road and traffic conditions The topics covered in the course are relevant to drivers of all ages. Extensive reference is made to the advanced driving techniques and system of car control used and developed by the police so successfully over the last 70 years or so.
